Through this jewellery collection, I seek to unpack an internal conflict with social anxiety - a subject we often remain silent about, attempting to hide it, suppress it, and render it invisible to the outside world. Using jewellery as a medium, I create a dialogue with the body by materialising and localising these intensified feelings and symptoms. This work is based on the deconstruction of non-functioning mechanisms, reflecting the destructive state of anxiety. The deconstruction process itself becomes a form of self-analysis, allowing one to dissect and look into what lies behind the object’s framework.
